Podcast Episode 19: Complex Trauma and a Message of Hope

This by far is one of my most favorite episodes of the Parent-Child Relationship Podcast. I am humbled and grateful to have been able to sit down with the wonderful Robyn Gobbel, LCSW and RPT-S. She is a phenomenal clinician who treats the most difficult cases of complex trauma in her practice. She is a mentor to many and a leader in the attachment and trauma world. Robyn has so much knowledge to share with us and so much to teach us!

In this episode Robyn and I talk about
Complex trauma
Working with families
Why having a specialist who treats attachment and complex trauma is important
What a therapist who wants to treat these cases needs to have
Reactive attachment disorder vs. attachment vs. complex trauma
Hope and healing for families
FASD
Brain development
Trauma to the parents
Circle of Security
Movement and music and therapy
And so much more!
