Participating in this workshop you will be able to:

 

  • Identify four different attachment styles and their associated processes.

  • ​Describe the impact of insecure and disorganized attachment on an infant’s and toddler’s life.

​

  • Identify ten different ways parents' own trauma history and environment plays a role in a young child’s life.

​

  • Define developmental trauma and complex trauma and will be able to distinguish it from reactive attachment disorder.

​

  • Understand the advantages of early childhood trauma treatment.

​

  • Distinguish five key differences between a healthy and an unhealthy attachment of a infant and toddler to their caregiver

​

  • Identify at least three tools you can use to screen for attachment and developmental trauma related problems in infants and toddlers.

​

For Florida LMHC, LCSW, and LMFT license holders 6.5 hours of CEU's will be provided.
